THE HOLY SOULS

I must say that I am truly delighted to be able to present this little volume to you, dear readers, because it is something which I have been hoping to realize for a very long time. My dearest wish is that through this part of mine the readers will become a little more aware of the plight of our departed brothers and sisters-our loved ones now in Purgatory- and that those Holy Souls will inundate the Lord, Our Blessed Lady and all the saints, with prayers on our behalf.
Padre Pio, without doubt would be extremely pleased if we were able to obtain their prayers. Apparently the Holy Souls were his constant companions throughout his life, and he was their untiring intercessor before the Lord.
Let us, too, follow his example in our own humble way by offering up our daily prayers, trials and sufferings for the release of these souls. By doing this, we shall contribute to the great joy of a soul on hearing the words: "Come you blessed of my Father into the everlasting light" (Mat. 15: 34)- Father Alessio Parente, O.F.M. Cap on his introduction in his book "THE HOLY SOULS"
